Scratch day 2023 event in DC : Learn how to code from scratch with Lego robotics for kids

Scratch Day 2023:
Since year 2023 is moving and that May is starting, I wanted to remind about an event that happen every year in May for 16 years. For those of you who do not know what Scratch coding is, it is a online community platform where your children can learn how to code a video game, how to learn coding fast, create a animated story and more.
Live coding event
So it's Scratch Day on May 13th. I want to enjoy this moment to spend some time with you live on learn how to code and see the basics of coding. One thing I want to mention is that scratch is a coding language that uses blocks. Meaning you can use the blocks to code. And it's easy to learn coding for younger kids. We are talking kids who know how to read (7 years old and more).
This will be a show and Tell where I will explain step-by-step what coding is, how to implement coding and then test it. It's going to be fun!!! You do not need previous knowledge to join us.
STEM program for the kids - Robotics coding
In this Show and tell, will see:
What is Scratch
What is coding
Introduction to Lego for robotics
How to implement coding
Exercises
And test our code
Test the Lego robot, motor and sensors
Date and time and place
If your children are somehow between 7 years old and more and have the desire to learn how to code a robot from scratch. Come join us from 4 pm to 5 pm on:
Saturday, May 13th 2023.
