About Us

Makersgeneration is a company based in Silver Spring, Maryland. It's goal is to share with Adults, teens and children the passion to create, tink and create things (technical). We provide courses and workshops for kids and adults and are also parts distributor and supplies for electronics components, 3D printer and more.

Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or an exchange.

The refund for the workshop has a different policy. Please check the workshops refund section below.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 to 14 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Workshops

Makersgeneration propose differents workshops  in electronics, 3D printing, 3D Modeling, robotics and more. You can subcribe online to buy them depending of the date of their availability. Each worshops dpending of the topic got a date written on the website.

Those workshops are made for a group of people that can reach 10 people and last 1 or 2 days depending of the one you choose. Please have a look on the website for

It is hoghly recommended to booked your workshop at least for weeks before to allow a better understanding of the tools and materiels needed and a better management for the session;

Workshops refund

If the workshop is made in the Washington DC area, a refund can be made following this calendar:

  • 10 days: No refund possible

  • 3 weeks: % 50 refundable

  • 1 month: $50 Fee

  • Before a month:

Otherwise, whether the workshop is outside the Washington DC area, the refund amount can change because of the fees that are already engaged to make the class possible. These are the following:

  • 3 weeks: No refund possible

  • 1 month: 50%

  • Before a month:  $50 Fee
