Raspberry pi jam: STEM coding and robotics for kids in Washington DC and Maryland - lean how to code

Hi there,

Welcome back for this new tutorial.

Like me, you want the best for your kids. And maybe like me you always look for activities to put them into and learn something new. If that's the case and that you live in Washington DC, Maryland and nothern Virginia, you are at the right place. An let me tell you why.

The raspberry pi board

I don't know if you are familiar with the raspberry pi board. If not, to be quick , it's a small electronics board big as a credit card that you can transform to a computer.

But not only, you can also transform it to more or less whatever you want (radio, tablet, create robots, 3D printer and more) because of the hardware it contains ( processor, USB slots, Ethernet for the networking and also hacking of course and some inputs/outputs).

It has been created by the Raspberry pi foundation that also created the Linux operating system that runs the boards
